Here are some stunning photographs of Saturday’s wildfire on Marsden Moor. They were taken and sent in to Saddleworth News by Samuel Ward, so many thanks to him.

Dozens of firefighters were needed to put out the fire, which broke out near the Pennine Way at the district boundary between Saddleworth and Kirklees. Saddleworth News articles about it can be read here and here.
