After the advertorial we ran in the September issue of Saddleworth News and Life, we saw a definite increase in the footfall at our sales. Our three previous sales had been attended by between 170-190 people. In September, this rose to 269 people plus children. In terms of stall sales, we saw a huge increase in bookings with 95% of our stalls for the rest of the year selling out within a month. We also had more stall bookings from the Saddleworth and neighbouring areas.

After an editorial interview on the site, with a link and banner I received a 600% increase in visitors to my site. I don’t expect sales as my business is more about gaining people’s trust and them returning. Advertising with Saddleworth News and Life has increased my viewing figures and so brand awareness at least 2-fold. Both enquiries and bookings have also increased.
