in a prime residential area,Uppermill Sports Club occupies
a picturesque site in the heart of Saddleworth with views over the local countryside.

The
Club is 120 years old; In 1889 it became known as Uppermill Cricket Club and was one of the original teams to join the Saddleworth and District Cricket Leauge in 1998. Around 10 years ago it changed its name to become known as Uppermill Sports Club in recognition of the various other sporting teams that were part of the club

improvements of, cricket ground, bowling green, members bar’s, function room have evolved the Club into its present
day form.

The different sports that are on offer are; Bowling, Cricket (Senior & Junior), Football (Senior & Junior), Rounders, Pool and Table tennis. The Club is always looking for new members to join in the fun
Uppermill Sports Club now provides
not only a valuable sports facility to local residents
but a safe and secure social venue for local families. New members are always welcome; not just to participate in the sports but also as social and family members

The Club has a very strong family atmosphere with regular family events and entertainment.

The function room is available to hire (at the moment no charge to hire). The room comfortably accommodates 80 people and the use of a kitchen can be arranged
