A lucky escape for Parents and toddlers at St Mary’s School in Greenfield

A large tree fell onto the entrance hall at Greenfield Primary School this morning. No one was hurt, and it seems that scaffolding helped to save the roof from damage. Tree surgeons were called and the tree swiftly removed ready for tomorrow’s school day.

Reports that a Parent and toddler group yesterday gathered at the school but had left by he tine the tree fell.
