Council Relaunches Tidy Oldham Site

Oldham Council has given a revamp to its Tidy Oldham website, which is aimed at encouraging residents across the borough to point out unsightly problems such as litter and graffiti. The relaunched site went live last week, and it’s now possible to report an issue by e-mail or text with a picture taken on your camera phone.

The site was initially started in 2007. The council’s statement quotes Cllr Mark Alcock, who holds the Citizens and Neighbourhoods portfolio, as saying: “Using this site has helped the council to cut down on the length of time it takes to process a report.”

There’s a lot more information in the council’s press release here.

The Tidy Oldham site itself is here.
