Dobcross Band Club Fundraiser On Saturday

A fundraising gig for Dobcross Band Club will take place at the club itself this Saturday night. The former musical director of the Dobcross Silver Band, Dennis Hadfield, will be performing with his trio, 5 o’clock Shadow.
The group features Dennis, who still lives in the village, on guitar and vocals, along with another guitarist/vocalist and a keyboard player. They play covers of songs by a variety of artists, from Elton John to Simon and Garfunkel and The Killers.
The evening begins at 8:30pm, and tickets cost £7 on the door. That price includes a potato pie supper.
There’ll also be a raffle and possibly one or two other fundraising items, too.
