‘Five close pals doing some good for the beautiful world we live in’

Calvin, Tom, Sam, Jack and Josh have set themselves a challenge and aim to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge. The three peak challenge involves the guys climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hrs. Ben Nevis (1,344 m or 4,409 ft), is the highest mountain in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978 m or 3,209 ft), is the highest mountain in England, Snowdon (1,085 m or 3,560 ft) is the highest in Wales.

They told Saddleworth News: “We’re hoping to raise a large sum for UNICEF with the help of kind-hearted souls, such as your readers! With their support, we’d love to help both current and future generations of young children. Being the competitive bunch we are, we plan to complete the challenge in under the given time. So please give us all the incentive and encouragement we need!”

I used to do MMA with Calvin. He’s a good lad. Great cause, hope they do well.
