Grains Bar Restaurant Owner Fined
The owner of the Vamasaki Indian restaurant at Grains Bar has been told to pay more than £1,000 for breaching planning regulations. Jewel Miah failed to properly conceal an extraction system, didn’t provide a cycle rack and also neglected to stain a fence.
Mr Miah was prosecuted by the council, and when he didn’t turn up to Oldham Magistrates Court the case was proved in his absence. He was fined £700, and must also pay £300 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
There’s more information in an Oldham Council press release here.
