Local Artists fling open their doors to welcome the public to their Art Fair

Liz Ackerley

All the artists and makers at Woodend Mill 1 & 2 will be opening up their studios, galleries and workshops to show and talk to visitors about what they’ve been up to in the past year.

The collective of Artists, Woodend Studios, will be offering hundreds of artworks, local photography and creative pieces will be for sale and to view. A treasure hunt will take you around the studios so easily found in the ‘rabbit warren’ that is Woodend Mill. Come and see what they have been creating behind their doors.

Artists with doors flung wide include Judith Alsop Miles, Richard Clare, Chris Cyprus, Susan Aggarwal, Sheila Meeks, Jude Gidney, Cara Campbell, Steven Stringer, Alyson Leach, Hugh Winterbottom, Victoria Ashworth, Nancy Crilley and Scott Bradshaw.

The Art Fair is also welcoming Emmaus Mossley to Mill 2. Emmaus, a local homeless charity, will have a stall at the fair selling many vintage items and auctioning art work pieces to raise money for their worthwhile cause.
