New Mental Health Caring Group

Over the last year, Helen and I have noticed a lack of support in the area for those caring for young and older individuals with mental health issues. These may be family or friends.

We wish to provide a supportive, relaxed and informal space for people to share issues and difficulties surrounding the loved ones they care for and/or live with. We hope it’ll start by being a consultation or sound shop for people to express their needs and concerns, and head towards a way forward for such a group.

We aim to be non-judgemental, listening, hopefully informative and easily accessed at the Satellite Centre, Wellington Road, Greenfield OL3 7AL.

If you are interested or feel this is a resource that could be of help to you, we’d welcome you to join us.
