Local photographer Phil Melia has an exhibition of photographs currently running at Stockport Art Gallery.
Phil Melia – Man with flag standing
The collection captures evocative photographs of one of the world’s famous horse races. This portfolio re-creates the excitement, tension and colour of Italy’s greatest horse race, known locally as Il Palio.
Phil has skilfully managed to capture the essence of the event in this portfolio of powerful images.
The exhibition which started last week will run till November 30th 2013 at Stockport Art Gallery and War Memorial, Wellington Road South, Stockport SK3 8AB.
The exhibition is open Tues – Friday, 1.00pm to 5.00pm, Sat 10.00am – 5.00pm, Sun 11.00am – 5.00pm.
