Tree Planting On Crompton Moor Tomorrow

People who regularly use Crompton Moor are holding a tree planting event there tomorrow afternoon.

It’s scheduled for between 1pm and 3pm, and anyone interested in going along is asked to meet in the Brushes Clough car park off Buckstones Road.

One volunteer has also been hard at work making bird boxes, so help’s also needed to put those up.

If the weather’s bad and planting trees proves difficult, the volunteers say they’ll still have a get-together and see what they can do.
