The boy killed in an explosion in Oldham on Tuesday 26 June 2012, has been formally identified as two-year-old Jamie Heaton.
In a tribute his family said: “Jamie was a happy loving little boy – precious son to Michelle and Kenny and loving little brother to Jodie and Jack.
“Jamie’s life was full of laughter. He loved going to preschool, playing with sand and water and going to the park. He touched the hearts of all who knew him and will be missed by all.”
Police are treating the death as suspicious.
I just feel like I need to do something like start a collection for the families effected. Shaw does share a border with us after all. I just don’t know where to start :/
Our thoughts are with Jamie’s family at this nightmare time. We wish you all the love in the world and wish we could take some of the hurt you are feeling away from you. We can not begin to imagine what you are going through right now but we wish you all the love in the world.
So sorry for poor little Jamie so tragic, my thoughts are with his family and all the people involved in the explosion.
