🌟🤩THIS COMMUNITY IS FANTASTIC 🤩🌟 – says Dovestone WI

After Dovestone W.I.🕊 launched the ‘Fabric into Food’ mission in May, we were astonished when donations for our reusable washable fabric face masks reached £1,000 – we were truly humbled by people’s generosity 🥰
Then as our sewing bees 🐝 made more masks, more donations came, which meant more food could be bought for foodbanks in the wider community.
This carried on and we were absolutely blown away with how people had helped us.

So imagine our amazement, when we got a Treasurers report yesterday, telling us we had reached £7,000…🤩😳😲

£6,000 has been spent on food already so this means another £1,000 can be spent helping vulnerable and financially struggling families and individuals.
A HUGE thank you to all that have donated, either online or through one of our mask stockists in the community. But an even BIGGER thank you to all our team for making this happen. The graft, energy, commitment, coordination and sheer gravitas that this mission has required and delivered is nothing short of magnificent! 👏🏻👌🏻👏🏻

Also, in a bid to support local businesses and get masks out to the wider community, Dovestone W.I.🕊 are stocking their handmade cotton face masks in the following places –

Saddleworth Country Store – Diggle
Diggle Chippy
Diggle Locke cafe
Little Owl Farm shop – Delph
Delph Chippy
Saddleworth Craft & Co – Delph
Reclamation Rooms – Uppermill
Gifts for all Seasons – Uppermill
Weaver & Wilde cafe – Uppermill
Station Brew cafe – Greenfield
Well I hole Farm shop – Greenfield

Thank you for your continued support ❤️

Love from Dovestone W.I. 🕊xx
