87 yr old missing from Audenshaw – FOUND
Doreen has now been found safe and well.
Police are searching for a missing 87-year-old woman from Audenshaw.
Doreen Cronshaw was last seen at 10.45am this morning (Saturday 17 March 2018) at her home on Haughton Street.
She is described as white, around 5ft tall, of a medium build with grey curly hair.
It is believed that Doreen is wearing a lilac hooded coat with thin canvas shoes and is carrying a handbag.
Inspector Terry Finn of GMP’s Tameside borough, said: “Doreen has been missing for a few hours now and we’re incredibly concerned as she is not suitably dressed for this wintry weather.
“Doreen suffers with dementia and may be confused, so it’s vital that we find where she is and bring her back home to her loved ones.
“Please, help us to bring her home, if you see Doreen around Audenshaw, or have seen her this morning, contact police as soon as you can.”
Anyone with information about Doreen’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference MP/18/0114207. Reports can also be made anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
