Exciting times for Newly Published Poets

Proud to be published

Meet Hilary Robinson and Rachel Davies who are both very soon to be published poets who live in Saddleworth.

They have both having gained MAs in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University. Rachel Davies is also in the final stages of completing a PhD, again, in poetry.

Both Hilary and Rachel, and a third poet, Tonia Bevins, are being published together by Beautiful Dragons Press as their first ‘DragonSpawn’ venture —’Some Mothers Do’.

The launch will be on Wednesday 7th November at the Portico Library in Manchester from 6:30pm and there will also be a more informal launch at the Black Ladd, Buckstones Road, Shaw on Tuesday 13th November from 7pm.

Unfortunately, Tonia Bevins died suddenly in the summer. She was delighted to know that her poems were to be published and her work will be read by her friends Angi Holden and Angela Topping.
