A Cloudy Week In Store

An overcast day in Holmfirth recently. We can expect more of the same this week.

We may be well into March but there’ll be no repeat of last week’s sunny weather over the next few days. It’s going to be mostly overcast with rain more likely towards the end of the week.

Today will be gloomy and the coldest day for a while with temperatures struggling to reach 6C. It’ll feel cooler than that in the wind, with gusts expected to reach about 20mph.

Tomorrow will again be overcast although a bit warmer, with highs of 9C. The sun could break through at times, especially during the morning, but generally it’s going to be another dreary day.

Wednesday and Thursday offer more of the same, although temperatures will continue to rise slightly, with highs on Thursday of 11C. The first heavy rain of the week is likely to fall on Thursday night into Friday morning, and the showers are expected to stick around well into Friday.
