Another Comeback Win For Mossley

Mossley came from behind to win last night for the second time in four days. They recovered from a goal down away to Bamber Bridge, leaving with a 2-1 victory.

The home side took the lead after 27 minutes through defender James Heywood. But Mossley were back level three minutes later thanks to a header from Steve Moore.

Mossley’s winner came early in the second half, Lee Blackshaw with a run and shot described as a “goal of the season contender” on the club’s website. Mossley had further chances to increase their lead, but failed to add to the 2-1 scoreline.

The victory follows Saturday’s 4-2 win over Clitheroe, when Mossley had been two goals behind. Mossley now move up a place to 15th in the Unibond Division One North table, which you can see here.
