Inspector Danny Milovanovic was quoted as saying: “To recover such a large amount of cannabis is a great result for the people of Lees and for the police. The electricity supply had been illegally tampered with and colleagues from the utilities provider were called out to make the electricity supply safe.”

He added: “Thanks to the information we received from the community, we have been able to prevent these drugs being sold on the street. I would encourage anyone with information about other potential cannabis farms or those involved in the sale and supply of drugs to get in touch. All information will be treated in strict confidence.”
