CCTV released after cycle theft at Greenfield station
British Transport Police officers, investigating the theft of a bike from Greenfield rail station, have released the CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
The incident happened at around 2.15pm on Tuesday, 26 June, after the owner of the bike had left it chained at the station’s cycle rack.
PC Matthew Morrison said: “It appears two men targeted the bike – a silver Peugeot Tim Gould mountain bike worth £250 – and, using an unknown implement, forced the lock and stole the cycle.
“We have reviewed CCTV footage from the station and have identified a man we would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
“If you recognise the man, or have information about the incident, please call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
In all calls please quote log B5/NWA of 21/08/12.
How about posting a larger file than the image here. His face is probably around 4 pixels across – no good for recognition.
That is the size of the image the po lice have released. I agree with your comment!
