Concerts And CD News From Diggle Band Club

Brian Taylor has been in touch to share some news about forthcoming concerts at Diggle Band Club, as well as a new CD with none other than whistling legend David Morris.

First the concerts. For those of you still hankering after a bit of the blues following the successful Diggle Blues Festival over the summer, then the Blues Train band will be performing at the club on Saturday 1 October at 8pm. Admission is free, and Thwaites is £2.15 a pint.

Then the Diggle Band themselves will be in concert at the club on Sunday 9 October at 7:30pm. The theme will be Scottish music, and tickets costing £6 can be bought in advance from Dorothy by ringing 01457 873937.

Brian also revealed that the band has been in the recording studio with David, who is based in Dobcross, to record some backing music for his new album.

It’s a Christmas CD, and should be available to buy later in the year, so look out for it!
