Council Offers Help With Census Forms

Census forms began arriving at homes in our area yesterday, and Oldham Council has promised to offer help to anyone who needs assistance filling them out. A series of events will be held at libraries, so staff can deal with any questions residents might have.

The official date for the census is Sunday 27 March, so the forms should only be filled out on or after that.

In Saddleworth, an event will take place in Uppermill Library on Thursday 31 March between 4:30pm and 6:30pm, with one at Greenfield Library on Saturday 2 April from 10am to 12 noon. There’ll also be a similar session at Lees Library on Monday 4 April between 2pm and 4pm.

More information about the census, including what it means for the borough of Oldham, is available from the council here. The national website dealing with the census is here.
