Date And Venue Set For Charity Brass Band Concert

The charity brass band concert in aid of Help For Heroes will take place at the Civic Hall in Uppermill on Saturday 3 July. Tickets are priced £10, and are currently available from the event’s Facebook page here.

Helen Frost is organising the concert following the death of her cousin, Corporal James Oakland, in Afghanistan last October. Although lots of Saddleworth players have already volunteered to take part, Helen’s still keen to hear from any local people or businesses who might be able to help in any way.
