Delph And Dobcross Extend Huddersfield League Lead

Delph and Dobcross have opened up a four point lead at the top of cricket’s Huddersfield League. They beat Shelley on Saturday, while second-placed Kirkburton’s game with Marsden was rained off.

In a match reduced to 40 overs per side, Shelley made 199/4 from their allocation, with Sam Scott hitting 82.

With light fading, D&D tried to knock off the runs as quickly as they could, and ultimately reached their target after 33 overs, for the loss of seven wickets. Bilal Khiljee top scored with 49.
