Delph And Dobcross Go Through
Delph and Dobcross got their first competitive win of the season on Saturday. They won away at Lepton Highlanders by 8 wickets in the opening round of the Sykes Cup.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Lepton were bowled out for 150. D&D professional Bilal Khiljee was the pick of the bowlers taking 5/37.
With rain around D&D made sure they chased down their target quickly, reaching 152/2 in the 27th over. Khiljee was unbeaten on 55, while Irfan Zahoor scored 60.
