Documentary Preview In Greenfield Tonight

The new documentary made by Uppermill-based producer John Mathews gets a special preview screening in Greenfield tonight. The film, which is about the deadly history of motorsport, will be shown at the Railway at 7:30pm.

Tickets will be available on the door. John will also be doing a Q&A session after the film, which is to be shown on the BBC next year.

Among those going along tonight is the winner of the Saddleworth News competition for a free ticket. Darren Hargreaves from Dobcross correctly answered that Sir Jackie Stewart was the Scottish driver who won the world Formula 1 title three times. Sir Jackie is among the legends of motorsport who features in the film.
