FA Cup Replay For Mossley

Mossley will be back in FA Cup action tomorrow night, after they were held to a draw on Saturday by Lincoln Moorlands Railway in their Third Qualifying Round tie. The game finished 1-1.

Mossley took a first-half lead through Ben Richardson, only for Ben Good to equalise for the home side with 20 minutes to play. Tomorrow night’s replay at Seel Park kicks off at 7:45pm.

The draw for the Fourth Qualifying Round has already been made, and Mossley’s reward for a victory tomorrow will be a home tie with Darlington, now playing in the Conference after finishing bottom of the Football League last season. You can read a report of Saturday’s game at the Mossley website here.

Elsewhere over the weekend, Springhead were beaten 5-3 at home by AVRO in the Manchester League, leaving them 11th in the table. You can view that here.

In Division One of the Huddersfield League there were mixed fortunes for our teams. Diggle thrashed Lepton Highlanders 6-0, but Uppermill were beaten 4-2 by Britannia Sports. Diggle are 3rd in the table, with Uppermill 8th. There’s more information here.
