First Win Of The Season For Uppermill
Uppermill managed their first win of the Huddersfield League season on Saturday. They won 1-0 against Berry Brow to move up to 4th in the Division One table.
Diggle have only been able to play one game so far this season, so they’re currently 8th. You can view the table and the league results here.
A bit further up the football pyramid, Springhead have made a solid start in the Manchester League. Their 3-0 win over Manchester Gregorians on Saturday leaves them in mid-table, with 11 points from eight matches so far. There’s more information at the league website here.
Meanwhile, Mossley finally got their first victory of the Evo Stik League First Division North season last midweek, with a 2-0 triumph over Fylde. However, they shipped three late goals on Saturday to lose 4-1 at home to Skelmersdale. The match reports are here and here.
