Free Shuttle Bus For Saddleworth Show
The Saddleworth Show is tomorrow, and a free shuttle bus is being laid on to take people from Uppermill to Churchill Fields where the day’s events are taking place. Top of the bill at this year’s show are some racing camels, with organisers from the Rotary Club promising a “spectacular display” from the animals in the main arena.
There’ll also be the usual array of stalls, competitions and other entertainment. For full details, visit the Saddleworth Show website here. The fun starts at 10am, and tickets are £3 for adults and £2 for children and concessions, with a family ticket available for £7.
The bus service is being provided by Mossley-based Checkmate Transport. They will also be operating the new tourist bus to and from Dove Stone Reservoir which begins next weekend.
