Friends Of Mossley Park Picnic
The Friends of Mossley Park hold their third annual Picnic in the Park this Sunday. Organisers say the event is aimed at all the family, and last year attracted more than 1,200 visitors.
There’ll be face painting, a bouncy castle, community art, live music, stalls, games and a barbecue.
In an e-mail to Saddleworth News, Cllr Paul Dowthwaite, the Secretary of the Friends Group, commented: “We’re hoping for a repeat of last year. It was great to see so many families enjoying their local park. Don’t forget to bring your picnic and a groundsheet.”
