Friends Of Mossley Park

I’ve been sent some information by the Friends of Mossley Park about a bit of gardening work they’re carrying out tomorrow and on Saturday. Anyone is welcome to join them. I’ve reproduced their e-mail below. If you’ve got an event or charity cause you’d like to help publicise, send me an e-mail by clicking Contact at the top of the page, and I’ll be happy to feature it.

“The Friends will be out and about in the Park again this week on Wednesday and Saturday morning from 10am.

“As Spring is almost sprung and the plants are beginning to wake up, it’s a great time to try something new and get out and about. We will be focussing on tidying up the flower beds and planting more plants to bring colour to the Park and working in front of the hall and along the brambles lodge drive. As Mossley Park and the Friends will be entering the Britain in Bloom ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ Awards this year there’s a lot to do!

“We will be meeting in front of Mossley Hall at 10am and gardening until 12pm. Tools and gloves are provided, but if you have a favourite trowel or spade feel free to bring them along.

“If you can’t make it this month, we are out in the Park every last Saturday of the month.”
