Greenfield Brew Up Festive Ale

The brewers down at Greenfield Real Ale are brewing up a special ale for the Christmas period. Rudolph’s Tipple will soon be available directly from the brewery itself, as well as at the Clarence pub in Greenfield and probably other outlets too.

Brewer Tony Harrat told Saddleworth News the beer has proved popular in past years, and added that he’s expecting high demand once again so urged anyone interested in getting some to place an order quickly.

It’s available in containers of five, ten and 20 litres, as well as in barrels if you’re planning a party.

The beer itself is 5%, which makes it the strongest in the Greenfield range. It’s described as “a dark bitter blended with honey” and apparently has some “special ingredients” in there.

You can reserve your beer by going along to the brewery in person. It’s at Unit 8 of Waterside Mills on the Chew Valley Road in Greenfield. Or you can give them a phone on 01457 879789.

There’s more information at the brewery’s website here.
