Help For Heroes Charity Night

A Help For Heroes charity night has been organised for St George’s Day at the Commercial pub in Uppermill. Organisers are going to putting on four live bands, and there’ll be a raffle too.

St George’s Day, which is 23 April, falls this year on a Friday. The event will be free, but there’ll be a suggested donation of £4 to the charity, which raises money for the UK’s war wounded.
