It’s a dog’s life at Christmas!

This morning a handful of local professional dog walkers gathered together, but kept their distance, for a Christmas walk. Racheal Childs owner of County Tails Home Dog Boarding in Greenfield, decided to arrange a jolly get together to brighten their day and others around. And it sure did, with many other dog walkers wishing them well and children delighted to see good elves doing a fine job.

The dogs all mingled really well and really seemed to enjoy being together and showing off their Christmas jumpers.

Louise Tunnicliffe of Tunnicliffe Tales told us : ‘We have all made friends from being out and walking with the dogs. I see us as a dog walking family! We support each other through the highs and the lows. We usually look forward to a festive meal and a few drinks with each other but this year it has been a socially distanced walk with our dogs was just as nice.’

Lizzie at 4Paws Saddleworth said; ‘Today was lovely, seeing friends (from a safe distance) and their 4 legged friends, brought a lot of festive cheer to my day. Just what Santa ordered!’
