Keeping it local with Shop Local Festival
Following its roaring success of the last two years, Saddleworth Women’s Institute and Saddleworth Parish Council are hosting a third Shop Local Festival next Spring.
Welcoming 755 visitors and raising some £650 for local charities, Shop Local 2012 proved a massive hit with Saddleworth residents and visitors alike.
The next Shop Local will take place in the Civic Hall, Uppermill on Sunday 3rd March 2013. We hope this ‘farmer’s market’ style event will encourage local retailers to showcase their products as well as raising funds for local charities.

Stalls cost £15 each and the event will run from 10am until 3pm.
