“At one of my recent surgeries I met a local businessman who told me his business was in danger of folding because many large companies were not paying their invoices promptly. In fact he has not been paid for over 90 days by larger companies in some instances.

“He also told me that many other local small and medium sized businesses are suffering in the same way. I would like to try and establish how big a problem late payments are for my constituents running small and medium sized businesses.

“I am appealing to anyone who can give me more information or needs my support to email me on abrahamsd@parliament.uk or to get in touch with my Church Lane office on 0161 624 4248.”
