As we are a small team behind this site – we have left reporting of this major incident to the larger news agencies as we are sure the emergency services don’t need to be bothered by all and sundry and respect their need to get on with their job. 

But we have been supporting the community by sharing offers of help and sharing advice from official sources such as the Greater Manchester Police and the Fire Fighting Service.
