Music concert at St Chad’s Church this Saturday
St Chad’s Church will host to a concert on Saturday 8th September by the Divertenti Quartet, a quartet of young ‘A’ students planning a career in music.
The students are hoping to raise funds to be part of a college led ‘Challenge Expedition’ to Namibia in 2013 and as part of their own personal growth have to raise £3,300 each to fund the trip!
During the event they will perform the Brahms String Quartet in C Minor followed by Dvorak ‘American’ Quartet.
Please come along and support this entertaining evening – all ages are welcome.
Details: St Chad’s Church, Church Road, Uppermill, Oldham and the concert runs from 7.30pm – 9pm, tickets are: adults: £6 concessions: £4.
