Photographer Looks At Folklore Of Saddleworth Moor

A photographer has taken his fascination with Saddleworth Moor further, by writing an article about the folklore of the moor, to go along with his excellent pictures of the area.

Andy Hemingway’s article can be read on the Peak District Online site here. It’s well worth a read, not least because some of his images are published along with the piece.

Andy’s latest exhibition, Peak Visions, which includes many of his Saddleworth photos, is on until this Saturday at the Castleton Visitor Centre, so you’d better hurry if you want to catch it. More information about that is available at Andy’s website here, and from his Facebook page here.
