Police Join In Whit Friday Sports Day Fun

It wasn’t just children and parents who enjoyed last week’s Whit Friday sports day, held during the afternoon on the playing fields near the old Woolpack in Dobcross. The police got involved too!

Officers who were on duty for the band contests later in the day were badgered into having a go at the sack race. And, as these pictures show, they certainly seemed to join in the fun.
