Saddleworth day of music
Due to the current circumstances the Whit Friday band contest has been very sadly cancelled this year.
Since the announcement by the Band Committee a group of passionate musicians has been pulled together to mark the day with music in their own way online.
Carol Oldham, originator of the group, tells us “We don’t have to let that stop us however, on the 5th June we want as many people as possible to post up in the group short films and links of themselves playing music. It doesn’t have to be brass all instruments are welcome including the human voice. Let’s make the 5th June a day of music in Saddleworth.”
