Nick, Matthew Milburn asked us if we would interview him, more than happy to interview anyone all they have to do is ask. Trying to keep things balanced. Just seems no one against wants to talk on camera!
Simple. After a number of emails we have decided not run a new poll. Most people say the existing one is fine and I’m sure another will just get the same arguments. It states its not scientific and is just a general gauge of feelings. It only allows so many questions. I think the thousand plus votes its had Give a general idea of the feeling. It will be removed soon.
As stated below happy to put all views online the problem is not many who are for the school are prepared to be interviewed or send in stories. Even the council will not provide an interview with anyone for it, I have asked. It’s either I report the meetings or you get a story once every three months. If the yes side are saying nothing, there’s nothing to report. And if that’s the case the school will be built and people will say there was no information. No bias here at all, maybe your correct to say I should do equal yes and no stories, its just that I’m not getting the yes ones coming Out very much. Each story reported has included both arguments. The headline as just reflected the main thrust of that particular story.
The headlines are only reflecting the particular meeting that was on at the time. Or the press release sent. If the “no” people are the ones making the noise they are creating the story. I’m trying to be balanced and we have things in the pipeline with people who are for the move. Overall you will find it is balanced in the end. Just the no people are louder then the yes people. Or is it that there are more of them? I asked OMBC to provide interview with me with somebody who supports the move, and they have not done this. Same with the EFA. In all my reporting I find that strange. But there is absolutely no overall bias.
It could be the case those against are louder to shout and are organising more meetings. Maybe those for the move should be more vocal. The poll is independent and no bias as well.
Victor, yes this is their official release, I am sure after the event, as always, we write our own account of the day.
We have, and plenty of them! See the two headmaster videos.

Joy maybe you should read the story, where does it say all Lib Dems support this? It clearly says Oldham Lib Dems as put out by them!!!
The article was a report on a meeting and what was said in a meeting. It was not the proposal of Saddleworth News!

The poll stated clearly it was not scientific. I think we will change it and maybe just have yes and no to School at Diggle.
