The Rushcart will be at Saddleworth Church by 1 so I’d suggest you either park behind the sports centre and walk up, or drive up Church Rd and park on the road (likely to be rammed). Walking will be necessary. These are timings for a few yrs ago. But the Rushcart will be up at the Church after 12, if they make it on time!
Harry, thanks for that information. The picture was taken near to the house but the police said it was the Greenfield side of Carr Lane. We wouldn’t know if the van had been parked further down the road of course, and we would not want to identify the address of the two victims, due to the circumstances. The van was attending that incident though.
Nick your entitled to your views. This story wasn’t written by us but the police and Lees partnership. I see no reason to alter it to accommodate different view points. If there was a typo saying Saddleworth was in Gloucestershire then obviously. Not my job to decide what county the folk of Saddleworth prefer us to be in!
Also it related to policing in the area and as far as they are concerned we are not on Yorkshire for crime prevention services.
Nick, I think it is more the fact you were calling Saddleworth News for not altering the story to suit your personal view point that was the issue possibly.
Nick in terms of policing which is done from Greater Manchester I think you will find they regard Saddleworth as GM for policing purposes. Don’t shoot the messenger!

I am no electrical engineer, so I have to trust their info is correct on the release! Well spotted though if your right.
