I just want to introduce you to Wendy Rodes. We met over a brew and she told me more about her passion for her work.
She’s a therapist and offers Mobile, Workplace Therapies & Pamper Parties; here’s what we talked about….
I offer a professional service to all my clients as well as bringing comfort & understanding. I always give my clients all the time they need so they never leave feeling like they have been rushed.
Please tell us a little about yourself and how you became a therapist Wendy:
I started on my spiritual journey 8 years ago when I first experienced Reiki, it helped me to heal the stresses of life and allowed me to focus on what was important. I can honestly say it is one of the best things that have come into my life. I wanted to help others to experience this feeling, so I decided to learn and see the positive changes it makes to my clients. I am very passionate about helping others feel good and seeing my how much my clients benefit from having Complimentary Therapies.
What did you do before finding your dream job?
Having spent 26 years in sales I decided to leave my job and set up my own business and do I what I love most by helping people feel better in themselves self-care is so important in our everyday lives.
Why will people feel you are the therapist for them?
I offer a professional service to all my clients as well as bringing comfort and understanding, as well as giving my clients all the time they need so they never leave feeling like they have been rushed.
I have also been providing therapies at charity events for the last 8 years raising money for various charities, as well as volunteering at the Reiki clinic at Uppermill Civic Hall on a monthly basis. I have attended specialist training in cancer care with the FHT with whom I am a member.
I am available 7 days a week including evenings I want to be more accessible than a salon with set daytime hours.
