Robbery in Springhead involving 5 hooded males

There was a robbery incident in Springhead on the evening of Thursday 1 February  on the bridal path between Ashbrook Road and Oldham Road.

A group of 5 males wearing dark hoods up covering faces approached a lone 15 yr old male who was riding his mountain bike along the bridal path.

One of the males who was taller than the others made a request for mobile phone and money and £25 in cash was handed over.
The youths were described as being aged 16/17 yrs all wearing dark clothing and one male was wearing a top which was a little lighter than the rest.
Contrary to initial reports a knife was NOT SEEN by our victim.
