Saddleworth residents asked to help with Mission Christmas

Greater Manchester Police is once again asking the people of Saddleworth to help them support the KEY 103 Mission Christmas Appeal.

Sadly there are still 1 in 3 children living in poverty, with Greater Manchester having the fourth highest levels of child poverty in the country.

Mission Christmas will not solve the poverty statistics, but will be a helping hand that ensures as many children as possible wake up with a present on Christmas day, no matter what their situation.

Last year the Saddleworth residents made an impressive contribution to the appeal, providing them with over 150 gifts.

If you would like to join in with the appeal this year, KEY 103 are asking for new unwrapped toys for all ages from birth to 18yrs, if you prefer to donate for the older children gift sets are also welcomed.

For cash donations you can Text the word KEY to 70808, this is to donate £5.00
