Saddleworth residents asked to support Duck Race
Dr Kershaws Hospice will be holding their annual Duck Race on Saturday 10 August at Chadderton Hall Park.
Saddleworth residents will be familiar with Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and organisers are hoping you can attend and help to support the event.
The duck race will take place between 1pm to 3pm. The ducks will be released at 2pm competing to be the first to the finish line. So why not go and see if your duck is one of the fastest. There is a selection of great prizes for the fastest duck owners. They will also be announcing the new name for our Hospice Mascot on the day.
You can sponsor a duck for £1 from the Hospice and all Hospice shops and the following locations; Oldham College, Kids R Us, Victoria Brook Nursery, The Village Nursery, Broadway Nursery, Pavilion Cafe, Oldham Academy North, New Bank Nursery and Nature’s Nursery. Ducks will also be on sale on the day from 1pm or beforehand at Pavilion cafe, up until the race.
