Saddleworth School students branch out into the tree business
Enterprising Students
Saddleworth students studying btec business studies are taking orders for Christmas trees over the festive period.
Christine Dempster, their school teacher, has set a venture up with the business class to give them experience in the business world. They held meetings with a supplier and the trees are being brought all the way down from Scotland.
” It’s a great way for the class to learn business and raise money for the school. ” says Vicky Crowther, mother of one of the students.
The enterprising students will be selling nordic pine Christmas trees in a variety of sizes which can be purchased and collected from school.
