Lilian still going strong at 103-years-old
Lilian Stell at 103!
Last year we wrote an article on former Saddleworth resident Lilian Stell and how she had reached the ripe old age of 102!
It was Lilian’s birthday again on the 14 July this year, she has now reached the ripe old age of 103! Lilian lived in Greenfield for many years but has lived in St Annes more recently .
One year on and she is still defying the odds and is pictured with the obligatory glass of Harveys Bristol Cream sherry and again a bunch of sweet peas that a friend John Featherstone and his wife had picked for her from her own garden, just as they did last year.
Lilian still lives in the same St Anne’s care home and asked the photographer: “Are you going to send it to Saddleworth News again to keep me famous?”
She still has a great sense of humour!
