Showers Forecast For Whit Friday

The weather forecast for tomorrow’s Whit Friday marches and band contests isn’t too great, although we shouldn’t see the torrential rain which affected Sunday’s Saddleworth Show.

The best of the conditions is likely to be at breakfast time, with the chance of some early sunshine, although that’s expected to give way to cloud cover and outbreaks of rain for the rest of the day and into the evening. So bring your waterproofs! Top temperatures are likely to be 14C, so not exactly a balmy summer’s day either.

As for Saturday’s Saddleworth Beer Walk, conditions may be a little better with temperatures reaching 16C, although there’ll be showers around once again.
